After seeing my progress Mum agreed to give it a go with me for a week.
Two months in, we're still going strong and I've been keeping this blog to track our progress, give us something to look back on and to share our ideas, recipes, achievements AND downfalls.
And now my sister has joined us too!
I’m at the 10 kg mark, it feels amazing. The last few days I have really put some more effort into my health and as a result I have gained this result.
Sister is still struggling with the no cake and milkshakes thing but hopefully we can give her enough support to stay on track.
Mum is still winning!
She dropped .9 kg yesterday without even trying haha
Me and sister are hanging about at the same weights.
This morning mum is maintained at 62.0, sister is 70.6 down from 71.5 and I am back to 70.6 down from 70.1.
And being that me and sister are around the same weight right now, the competition is ON! But in truth it is just more inspiration for us to both stay on track.
So a week ago my sister joined us and Mum and I had a renewed inspiration to work harder at being healthier and happier.
This week I learnt you can never be too old to take inspiration from your mother. Mum broke the 10kg mark this week and this morning weighed in at 62.0 kilo. She is ecstatic, as she should be, and has decided 2 more kilo is it for her and then she will enter maintenance mode. Mum believes she has the tools she needs to stay happy and healthy in life and she owes this to Jorge Cruise’s Belly Fat Cure.
Me and my sister however didn’t do as well. I weighed in at 70.4 this morning which is an increase of 800g from last week and as my sister hasn’t got very accurate scales yet she hasn’t really been able to keep track. My sister says she will buy them tomorrow and ‘start again’. I am looking to my Mum for inspiration and working hard to shake the small sugar addiction that has crept back into me. But, I know I can do it because I’ve done it before. And at the end of the day I am still 8 kilo lighter than when I started and that’s something.
Onwards and upwards, oh I mean downwards :)
Today was my sisters first weigh in and on her (not so new, slightly rugged) scales it appears she has shed her first 1/2 kilo thanks to The Belly Fat Cure.
We followed up with a skype chat this morning to talk about what she ate yesterday and what she is eating today. We ended our call with her starting to cook her sausage and scrambled egg.
And adorably, we were all wearing green tops again during our conversation.
